Number of AEB adult learners by priority sector

The four priority sectors of Digital and Creative; Business, Professional and Financial Services; Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing; and Construction accounted for just over 5,400 adult AEB learners, or about 15% of all AEB adult learners. More detailed analysis indicates:

Number of AEB adult learners in the Digital Creative sector by Level

867 learners were enrolled within the Digital and Creative sector. 50% of enrolments in the sector were to Level 2 courses and 25% to Level 3 provision.

Number of AEB adult learners in the Business, Professional and Financial Services sector by Level

1,495 learners were enrolled within the Business, Professional and Financial Services sector. 58% of enrolments in the sector were to Level 2 provision and 16% to Level 3 courses.

Number of AEB adult learners in the Construction sector by Level

1,831 learners were enrolled within the Construction sector. Just under half of enrolments in the sector were to Level 2 courses and 6% to Level 3 provision

Number of AEB adult learners in the Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing sector by Level

1,205 learners were enrolled within the Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing sector. About three quarters enrolments in the sector were to Level 2 provision and 13% to Level 3 provision.

Top 10 AEB Level 2+ programmes – Digital and Creative (No of enrolments)

Within each of these four priority sectors, analysis of the top 10 AEB Level 2+ programmes in terms of the number of enrolments indicates that these specific learning aims account for a significant proportion of all enrolments within these sectors.
