Number of Apprenticeship learners by priority sector

There were about 4,200 Apprentices enrolled onto programmes within the priority sectors of Digital and Creative; Business, Professional and Financial Services; Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing; and Construction, or just over half of all Apprentices. More detailed analysis indicates:

Number of Apprenticeship learners in the Digital Creative sector by Level

212 Apprentices were enrolled within the Digital and Creative sector. More than four fifths of enrolments within the sector were to Level 3 training and 11% to Level 4

Number of Apprenticeship learners in the Business, Professional and Financial Services sector by Level

Almost 950 Apprentices were enrolled within the Business, Professional and Financial Services sector of which more than 6 in 10 were Level 3 enrolments and 32% were Level 4+ enrolments.

Number of Apprenticeship learners in the Construction sector by Level

Almost 1,700 Apprentices were enrolled within the Construction sector. More than half of enrolments were to Level 2 courses and 34% to Level 3.

Number of Apprenticeship learners in the Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing sector by Level

1,375 Apprentices were enrolled within the Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing sector. Almost half of enrolments within the sector were to Level 3 courses and about 4 in 10 to Level 2 courses.

Top 10 Apprenticeship Level 2+ programmes

Within each of these four priority sectors analysis of the top 10 Apprentice learning aims in terms of the number of enrolments indicates that these specific learning aims account for a significant proportion of all enrolments within these sectors.
