41% was accounted for by learners living within Birmingham, 13% in Sandwell, 11% in both Dudley and Coventry, 10% in Wolverhampton, 9% in Walsall and 4% Solihull.

45% was accounted for by learners living within Birmingham and Solihull LEP area, 43% within the Black Country LEP and 11% within Coventry and Warwickshire LEP area.

Advanced Learner Loan spend by Level

93% related to Level 3 enrolments with the remainder at Level 4 and Level 5.

Advanced Learner Loan spend by sector (Top 15 sectors)

23% of this spend relates to Health and Social Care, 11% to Building and Construction and 9% to Engineering.

38% was accounted for by unemployed learners, a further 14% by learners out of work but not looking for work with nearly half of learners in paid employment.
