College Overview
WCG comprises six unique colleges across Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Students come here to study a wide range of technical, professional and academic subjects, and we have the largest number of 16-18-year-old students enrolled in Coventry and Warwickshire compared to all other providers for this age group in the region. We are also a truly international college, linking with countries across the world and students who have travelled from five continents to learn here. Our aim is to deliver learning experiences which lead to the development of wider skill bases and improved destinations for all of our students.
Our recent Ofsted inspection highlights our success and strong focus both on students and on meeting industry needs across our further education and apprenticeships provision. We are also the first college group in the UK to be granted Bachelor degree awarding powers alongside Foundation degree awarding powers by the Office for Students – meaning the academic quality and standards of our degrees are equal to any university.
We believe it’s not just about the vital qualifications and knowledge our learners need to get ahead, but the essential transferable skills to help them on their next steps, whatever they may be. We urge our students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset by instilling enterprising and innovative skills and behaviours to help them become successful in an ever-competitive world.
WCG offers all of the above in a supportive, friendly, high-quality and technologically-driven environment and we are fully committed to providing the best learning experience possible to help our students achieve their aspirations.
