The centre will ensure students are equipped with the skills needed to lead the charge in low-carbon technologies – and ensure the West Midlands remains at the forefront of energy innovation.
It comes after skills shortages were identified in the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and resulted in many colleges and training providers across the West Midlands joining forces to help fill the skills gap with the new brand Skills West Midlands & Warwickshire.
