£10,000 of LSIF Funding has been invested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)

£10,000 of LSIF funding has been invested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) education resources to engage the next generation of learners!

The money has been used to purchase interactive robots that people of all ages and abilities can use, to further improve their understanding of new technology.

The Greater Birmingham and Solihull Institute of Technology lends this LSIF funded equipment for free to schools and colleges across the West Midlands to enhance learning and make it fun!

Some of the events include robot days, open events, interaction with foundation learners, working with school leavers to engage them in STEM subjects, and school outreach.
