Students can study from entry level to degree at eight vibrant campuses across Birmingham

Our mission is simple: to empower individuals through high quality training, promoting personal and professional growth, and contribute to the social and economic development of our communities.

Most Improved Further Education College in the UK

SCCB has been named the most improved FE college in the UK, (March 2025) following the release of the Department for Education (DfE) National Achievement Rates Tables (NARTs). Our 16–18 full-time education and training provision achieved an incredible 13.3% improvement, the highest in the country – a testament to the commitment of our staff, the determination of our students and the quality of our courses.

A Major Force in Skills Development across the West Midlands

SCCB is the largest provider of adult learning in the region, delivering life-changing opportunities for people of all ages. We work closely with the Department for Work & Pensions (DWE) Jobcentre Plus to offer tailored training programmes that help unemployed individuals gain new skills and move into work, while also supporting businesses to upskill their workforce.

Our apprenticeship programmes involves us partnering with both regional and national employers, with a growing portfolio that supports regional skills priorities, offering young people and adults clear, practical pathways to exciting careers.
